BMW provides APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to qualified third parties for a range of aftersales data including repair instructions, wiring diagrams, flat rate units and spare parts data. Please note that an API is software code which requires a software programmer to use. The API provides data in a machine-readable format. The BMW data provided is the same data which is used in the applications AIR, ETK and KaSIO. If you are an independent workshop with limited software programming skills, we recommend that you use the applications AIR, ETK and KaSIO and not the machine-readable data from APIs.
