To install PEMS devices, BMW recommends using a EPA-compliant adapter as also used by ourselves for type test measurements.

Such adapters are not sold directly by BMW AG, but can be ordered from our supplier S. Bleyer GmbH:

Appropriate adapters can be welded gas-tight to to the exhaust gas system tailpipe and can be connected optimally to standard connection devices of PEMS devices.
